Petzl PIXA ATEX LED Head Torches

The PIXA range of head torches from Petzl are tough, versatile torches. PIXA head torches are ATEX approved for use in Zone 2 (gas) and Zone 22 (dust) environments.
PIXA head torches feature a rotating knob for controlling the setting. It is designed to be used with gloves too.

How tough are they?
PIXA head torches are crush and impact resistance. They are also waterproof to IP67 and chemical resistant. This makes them idea for use in harsh environments, so you don’t have to worry about damaging them.
PIXA head torches are resistant to falls from up to 2m and crushing up to 80kg.

How can it be worn?
The PIXA head torch can be worn directly on the head using the headband. Alternatively it can be attached to a Petzl helmet with a mounting plate. If you don’t have a helmet, you can purchase a rubber accessory band to attach the PIXA (792-1995). The PIXA lamp can also be placed on the floor anywhere to illuminate small spaces.
The headband is very comfortable for wearing for long periods of time. The band is also washable.

Constant Lighting Technology
This ensures that the brightness of the light does not decrease over time, as the battery drains.
