TE Connectivity Inverted SMT Through Board Connectors

Inverted SMT through board connectors designed to bring power to LED aluminium clad and FR4 boards from the underside of the PCB. The design of this connector eliminates wire dress management issues on the LED PCB. The connector is positioned on the PCB using a cutout or notch in the PCB. These inverted SMT lighting connectors have a low profile design and rounded corners to minimize shadowing. The top of the connector is flat to allow vacuum pick-up. Surface mount hold downs provide stability during mating and unmating. The housings of the connectors are made from high temperature thermoplastic allowing them to be used in reflow processing. These inverted SMT through board lighting connectors mate with the Mini CT connectors.
