The AFBR-26x4Z/25x9Z Series, from Avago Technologies, consists of fibre optic receivers for 1mm POF (polymer optical fibre). These fibre optic receivers are compatible with the TTL logic families. The AFBR-26x4Z/25x9Z 4-pin devices consist of a digitalising IC containing an integrated photodiode to produce a logic compatible output level. Packaged in Versatile Link housing, these components can be interlocked, minimising the space required. Suitable applications include industrial control and factory automation, high voltage isolation and elimination of ground loops.
