Eaton Contactor Overload Relay – ZB Series Thermal Overload Relays
The Eaton ZB series thermal overload relay with direct contactor mounting offers reliable motor protection and control in the event of a single-phase failure or overload within a multitude of environments. The auxiliary contacts disconnect the contactor and signal the fault when it overloads, meaning a reset can then take place. It works by cutting off the current to the motor when a high current situation occurs. As the relay receives the corresponding signal, it trips.
This Eaton product is predominantly designed for imitating the heating prototypes that are a staple for keeping your motor circuits healthy, which increases the motor lifetime. It provides an affordable and efficient way for you to protect your motors, whilst giving you peace of mind that you have sufficient motor protection and control.
