Molex 2.5 mm Nano-Fit Wire to Board PCB Headers
Nano-Fit wire to board PCB headers with a 2.5mm pitch and fully isolated terminals. These Nano-Fit PCB headers are the smallest fully isolated headers in the market and deliver up to 69% PCB space savings. The compact package and tight pitch of these headers combined with optimum current density offer increased design flexibility for engineers in a wide range of applications. These Nano-Fit PCB headers provide full electrical isolation between the contacts and prevent arcing. Full isolation also prevents damage to the contacts during handling and mating and reduces the risk of shorting due to debris. These 2.5mm Nano-Fit PCB power headers have a scoop proof design which protects the contacts from damage caused by mis-aligned mating and unmating. The housings feature polarization and keying to aid accurate mating and prevent misalignment therefore reducing the errors that can be caused due to improper installation. A positive locking mechanism ensures that a secure connection is made with the mating Nano-Fit receptacle connector. An audible click is produced to confirm mating completion. Tactile feedback is also provided when mis-mating is attempted. These Nano-Fit headers have Liquid Crystal Polymer housings able to withstand temperatures of up to 260°C. This feature makes the headers suitable for reflow processing which results in significant cost savings.
