S12A/D Series Microcontroller Units
S12A/D Series are 16-bit microcontroller units (MCU) that can also interface single 8-bit wide memory for lower cost systems. The integrated PLL circuit allows flexibility with power consumption and performance to suit the operational requirements of the user.
S12A/D microcontroller units include the standard on-chip peripherals below;
HCS12 CPU
64 K bytes of Flash EEPROM
1 K bytes of EEPROM
4 K bytes of RAM
2 asynchronous Serial Communications Interfaces (SCI)
1 Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI)
8-channel IC/OC enhanced Capture Timer
2 8-channel, 10-bit Analogue to Digital Converters (ADC)
8-channel Pulse-Width Modulator (PWM)
Digital Byte Data Link Controller (BDLC)
29 Discrete digital I/O channels
