S12E Series Microcontroller Units
S12E Series are low cost, 16-bit microcontroller units (MCU) that can also interface single 8-bit wide memory for lower cost systems. The integrated PLL circuit allows flexibility with power consumption and performance to suit the operational requirements of the user.
S12A/D microcontroller units include the standard on-chip peripherals below;
HCS12 CPU
128 K bytes of Flash EEPROM
2 K bytes of EEPROM
8 K bytes of RAM
3 asynchronous Serial Communications Interfaces (SCI)
1 Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI)
3 4-channel 16-bit timer modules (TIM)
2 1-channel 8-bit Digital to Analogue Converters (DAC)
16-channel 10-bit Analogue to Digital Converter (ADC)
6-channel 15-bit Pulse Modulator with Fault Protection Module (PMF)
6-channel 8-bit Pulse Width Modulator (PWM)
