OPF Series Fibre Optic Detectors
The OPF series, from Optek Technology, are a family of fibre optic detectors. They consist of a low noise silicon PIN photodiode within a package designed for fibre optic applications. The OPF series offers high speed and low capacitance, improving the signal to noise ratio for standard short haul LAN applications. Compatible LEDs and laser modules include those with a 800-1000 nm wavelength.
Suitable applications for the OPF fibre optic detectors include; industrial Ethernet equipment, copper-to-fibre media conversion, instra-system fibre optic links and video surveillance systems.
