9203B Type - EX Solenoid / Alarm Driver
PR Electronics 9203B Universal Ex driver for solenoids, acoustic alarms and LEDs. Used anywhere intrinsically safe levels of energy need to be sent to devices located in a flammable atmosphere. The PR 9203B uses transformer and optical isolation techniques to provide 2.6 kV galvanic isolation between the input, output and power terminals. The high level of electrical isolation means that input pulses sensed at the 9203B are not electrically connected to the output pulse. The 9203B has been designed, developed and certified for use in SIL 2 applications according to the requirements of IEC 61508.
