Q Type male NPT thread claw coupling is a hose coupling that is used to connect hoses together securely. The male adapter has external claws that grip onto the inner surface of the hose and a male National Pipe Thread (NPT) connection.

Q Type Claw Couplings are suitable for medium to high pressure compressed air applications, incorporate a safety 'pin lock' feature that prevents accidental disconnection, and are fully interchangeable with standard European claw couplings. The couplings are manufactured from malleable iron, with a Zinc-plated finish. The couplings also feature a security collar on the stem for use with HP clamps, to prevent hose 'blow off'.
