Simocode Motor Protection System

The Simocode provides a motor control solution within a fully integrated Profibus DP-based system. It is a programmable electronic overload device that is capable of protecting AC motors by monitoring motor phase current and winding temperature. Contactor control is achieved via output relays, with serial communication via a Profibus bus system. The device is typically used in a Motor Control Centre (MCC) to provide intelligent control.,The Simocode can be used as part of a larger control system, enabling the motor control functions to be monitored and controlled from a remote location. The Simocode can also be used as an independent protection device without needing to communicate to a higher level system. It contains all the necessary programmable logic functions to protect the motor and control the local starter components.
