AirPrime HL Series Embedded Modules
The AirPrime HL series from Sierra Wireless is a family of compact, embedded modules designed for 2G, 3G, 4G or LPWA networks. These modules will enable you to connect your device to any cellular network, where you can remotely upgrade them.
AirPrime HL modules share the same form factor across the range. It is very compact, at just 22 x 23 mm, meaning you can easily integrate it into small devices for voice and data connectivity. The pin layouts are also compatible throughout the HL series.
Future-proof:
Sierra Wireless designed the HL series of module with the future in mind. Various factors, including their package, FOTA and optional snap-in socket makes upgrading so straight forward.
2G & 3G modules:
With the 2G and 3G modules, you receive global coverage with industry and mobile network certifications. The 2G/3G versions also feature a GNSS receiver for tracking and location-based functions.
Unlimited FOTA (Firmware Over-The-Air) included:
To ensure the connectivity is optimised and secure, these modules come with secure boot and value-add firmware with FREE unlimited firmware over-the-air (FOTA) upgrades throughout the their lifetime. This is powered by the AirVantage cloud-based service.
Snap-in socket (optional):
Sierra Wireless also offer an innovative snap-in socket solution for these modules (RS part 134-9521). This socket eliminates the need to solder down the module, and provides an easy way for you to change or upgrade the device at any point. The socket is purchased separately.
