Multi-Contact POAG Right Angle Connector Sockets for Potential Equalisation Leads

Multi-Contact POAG right angle sockets are self assembly connectors for the creation of potential equalisation leads. These POAG socket connectors are made from hand drawn copper alloy which has been gold plated and are available in 4mm2 and 6mm2 cable cross section versions. The POAG connector assembly has a threaded Allen key screw cable retainer (a 2mm Allen key is the only tooling required for complete cable assembly), the connector itself clips together. These potential equalisation connectors, once assembled as equipotential leads are designed to equalise potentials between different metal parts that can be touched simultaneously or to reduce differences of potential that can occur during use between the bodies of medical electrical devices and conductive parts of other objects, designed for use in hospitals and other similiar facilities, conforming to DIN 42801 Part 2 standards.

DIN 42801 Part 2

Multi-Contact POAG Potential Equalisation Connectors and Leads

Multi-Contact POAG self assembly connectors and potential equalisation flexible leads are designed for use In hospitals and medical installations where patients and staff are subjected to dangerous, uncontrollable compensating currents flowing between equipment and touchable conducting parts of different voltage potentials, the answer to this problem is the installation of a seamless equipotential grounding system. Multi-Contact POAG connectors and potential equalisation leads are ideal for stationary site installations and medical instruments along with mobile equipment which is equipotentially grounded with angled socket leads to specially contoured plugs attached to the equipotential network.
