TE Connectivity HDSC Sealed MCP 1.5K Tab Housings

TE’s HDSCS series are selected housings that are manufactured to be used as heavy-duty, environmentally sealed connectors. Available in five sizes and in arrangements from 2 to 18 cavities these robust connectors are perfect for use in the automotive industry. The HDSCS range uses the MCP 1.5K tabs as a contact system. The connectors use an integral secondary locking, various polarisation keyrings, low mating force and a slide locking mechanism. They accept AMP MCP 6.3/4.8K, 2.8, and 1.5K contacts and carry up to 40 amps.
For use in commercial and off-road vehicle applications the HDSCS connectors have rugged thermoplastic housings which have been designed to withstand tough and harsh environments and high levels of vibrations.

The sealing provides IP67 protection against dust and water. This robust construction ensures high performance, reliability and long-term use. These HDSCS automotive connectors can be used for wire to wire or wire to device applications. The HDSCS connector housings are available in 5 different sizes from 2 to 18 ways and accept AMP MCP 1.5K, AMP MCP 2.8 or AMP MCP 6.3/4.8K receptacle or tab contacts.
