TE Connectivity AMPSEAL 16 Plug Style Receptacle Housings with Standard Diameter Wire Seal
TE Connectivity offers the AMPSEAL 16 receptacle style housings for pin contacts with integral primary latch reinforcement and CPA for secure locking. These AMPSEAL 16 automotive connectors have colour coding and physical keying to prevent mis-mating. Receptacle housings consist of a plug housing with both interface and wire seals, wire seal cover, PLR and CPA. These AMPSEAL 16 automotive receptacle housings have a standard diameter wire seal and accept a wire size range of 2.18 to 3.67 mm.
AMPSEAL 16 series housings are environmentally sealed wire-to-wire and wire-to-device connectors that accept the heavy duty stamped & formed size 16 contacts rated up to 13 amps each. They feature an integrated latch for mating and are available in 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, and 12-way arrangements.
These AMPSEAL 16 housings are available as both male and female components and come as either Thermoplastic or Glass Fibre Reinforced PBT housing material. These products come as a cable mount mounting type with its connectors acting as a crimp termination method, giving a good quality finish for customers.
