Molex MX150 3.50 mm Sealed Automotive Receptacle and Blade Connectors - 33472 and 33482 Series
MX150 high performance sealed automotive receptacle and blade connectors that meet USCAR-2 Class 3 requirements. Meeting this requirement means that these connectors can be used in on-engine, high vibration, under-hood and under chassis environments at class 3 temperatures. These MX150 automotive connectors have a compact housing design and are based on the 1.50 mm ISO blade type terminal system. This terminal system has a low insertion force and offers a high performance connection for mid power applications. The connector seals are designed and tested to IEC IP6K7 and IP67K9K and SAE USCAR-2 Rev 4 standards. Meeting this standard means that the connectors exceed waterproof demands as a true sealed connector system tested under submersed conditions in various fluids. The matte-seals of these connectors provide both waterproof protection and strain relief to the wire seal interface. The connector terminals which require purchasing separately are crimped and poked into the connector. These MX150 automotive connectors are supplied pre-assembled and consist of a housing, grommet cap, a primary lock reinforcement, a matte seal and a ring seal (female only). Versions of these connectors are also available with a CPA (Connector Position Assurance) which only locks when the connector is latched.
