RS PRO threaded inserts are an easy way to create stable threaded holes for screw fixings in thin sheet components where rear access isn't an option. When installed appropriately using a riveter tool, the serrated part expands inside the hole to provide high torque resistance.
Also known as crimp nuts, these inserts come with M4 threading and can be used in sheets of 0.5 mm to 3 mm thickness. Steel construction ensures they have good corrosion resistance.
