Getting the job done is straightforward, as you simply slip on a sleeve and apply pressure to the plier-style handles. The prong attachment does the hard work for you by expanding your elastomeric marker and holding it open so you can fit it without any hassle.
For flexibility, the product is supplied with three interchangeable prongs that let you work with sleeves ranging in diameter between 1.2 and 11.5mm.
A choice of application tools for use with expandable sleeves. The fixed prong tool (548-243) is suitable for use with sleeves of diameter up to 2.0 mm, and the interchangeable prong tool (548-259) for sleeves of diameter up to 11.5 mm. The interchangeable prong tool is supplied with three sets of prongs (one set of type 1, 2 and 3 prongs) and an assembly aid.
