Gas enters into the funnel, where the internal Microchip detects it and measures the way it alters atmospheric pressure. The sensor has a broad operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, so it's suitable for use in harsh environments. The four contacts mount to your printed circuit board (PCB) using a through-hole method and can then be soldered in place for a secure, air-tight connection.
