RS PRO Force Gauge RS232, USB, Range: 49.03 N

This digital force gauge from the trusted RS PRO range converts the voltage of a load into a force value, letting you measure compression and tension on a variety of materials.
The gauge can display force in either kilograms, imperial pounds or Newtons. It has a maximum range of 49.03 N (5 kg), with an accuracy of ±0.5%. An optional test stand, sold separately, enables you to repeat the measurements at a frequency, for example in standard test procedures.
The digital force gauge works with the standard RS232 interface, meaning it's compatible with common computing software. You can download results directly into a range of applications, including Microsoft Excel. The device also takes an SD card for additional data storage or manual data transfer.
Force gauges are useful in a range of testing and measuring applications, from wire springs to electrodes.
