This RS PRO air temperature probe is an easy way to take measurements of air, liquid or surface temperatures in your commercial or industrial application. It's designed for use with thermostats.
This probe uses a negative temperature coefficient (NTC) thermistor to ensure that changes in temperature are measured quickly and accurately. The unit has a cable that measures 1.5 meters long, allowing you to connect devices that are far away from one another.
You'll commonly find sensor probes like this one used in air conditioning and refrigeration devices, laboratories and manufacturing facilities. The unit meets American (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014) and European (BS EN 61340-5-1:2007) electrostatic discharge (ESD) standards, so you can be sure the risk of electrostatic discharge is minimised. It also complies with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) criteria, so it contains no more than minimal amounts of any harmful materials.
