This slide switch from our trusted RS PRO range offers smooth action for fast on-off control. With three switch positions, it can be turned on by pushing the slider to either end or off by leaving it in the middle.
The switch casing is made from DAP (diallyl phthalate), a tough plastic that offers excellent electrical insulation and high heat resistance. It's rated for 28 V DC and can endure temperatures ranging from -30°C to +85°C. Housed in stainless-steel with silver-plated brass contacts, the product is strong and durable. As a result, this slide switch has a mechanical life of 30,000 make-and-break cycles. Installation is quick and easy with through-hole terminals for direct mounting to printed circuit boards.
This product has been subjected to thorough testing to meet our high standards. It has many applications, chiefly as a primary power switch in small, battery-operated electrical devices.
