What is the difference between pin and pinless?

A pin-type moisture meter (or damp meter) contains metal points that are inserted into the material to take a reading, whereas a pinless meter uses non-invasive technology to detect how waveforms are affected by the presence of moisture in the material.

Note:

• lf the ball head is in the corner, it must have a minimum distance of 8 to 10 cm from corner area
• The ball head must be kept perpendicular to the measured material during the measurement and pressed firmly against the surface and not slanted
• ln the case of material thicknesses of less than 20cm, if "BAT" appears in the display, there is the risk that moisture values maybe incorrect and may be reading inaccurately
