For projects where threading holes is required, turn to this tap set. Each tap included in the set from RS PRO has a straight flute and a spiral point. Particularly suited for use in high-speed, automatic tapping operations, the taps can be used for both through and blind holes.
The taps are made of high-speed steel (HSS), which can cut holes in tougher materials like metal. The spiral point propels the chippings forward and allows them to escape through the holes. The seven-piece set has taps ranging in size from M3 to M12.
