Cold applied in-line splices that require no heating for installation and provide environmental sealing against moisture using a flame retardant silicone based gel sealing system and electrical isolation using a polymer outer layer. The crimp barrels of these splices are made from tin plated copper and the transparent polyvinylidene fluoride insulation sleeves have a colour coded end cap at either end.
