This RS PRO capacitive proximity barrel type sensor is a non-contact electronic sensing device you can use to detect virtually any object, regardless of the material. The sensor uses an electrical field, allowing you to accurately detect and measure the level of liquids as well as their pressure and humidity.
The housing of this unit is made from nickel-copper alloy, so it's durable and resistant to corrosion. The Ingress Protection (IP) rating of IP67 guarantees it's protected against dust and temporary immersion in water. The sensor features reverse polarity and short circuit overload protection, so you can rest assured it's safe to use. It's also highly adjustable, which means you can adapt it to suit your application.
